Every Time (Poem # 1)

Every time I look into your eyes

I see the person I've always dreamed of

The person who cares

Who will listen to my struggles

Who will understand what I'm trying to say

Who will love me for who I am

Not for the advantages

Not for anything else but for me

Every time I look into your eyes

I see someone whom I only see in my dreams

Every time I see your smile

My fears, disappointment, and despair disappear

My day suddenly becomes a brighter day

All of the bad, the horrible, and the sadness

Washes away from my soul the instant I see you smile

You smile a smile for me

Just for me

No one else

Every time I see your smile

I feel content, better, and just maybe, I feel happy

Every time I stand beside you

I know that I am protected

By everything directed to me

No one dares to touch me

No one dares to hurt me

But only if your are by my side

I can have confidence in my own strength

Every time I stand beside you

I am strong

Every time I kiss you

My body, my soul, my thoughts

They are intensified by the sudden rush

The sudden pleasure that your lips offer to me

The urge to want more is great

And the strength it offers to me is pure

Every time I kiss you

I am less burdened from my pains and sufferings, even if by a little

Every time you say you love me

I can't help but smile

When I feel like the world hates me,

You replace that hated feeling with love

A lot so strong that the darkness

Surrounding me cannot penetrate its barriers

Every time you say you love me

I can't help but tell you I love you back

Every time I look into your eyes

Every time I see your smile

Every time I stand beside you

Every time my lips touch yours

Every time you say you love me

I know that you are the one for me

I know that I belong to someone

I am not alone

You accepted me when the world ignored me

You listened

You held out your hand for me

You pulled me out of the darkness

You rescued me from the feeling of hatred

When I feel this way

When you act this way

Only then I can tell

That this is my true love

Every time...this happens...
